Dr Downing has great “bed side manners” He is kind, professional, and explains his procedures in detail. I would not go to anyone else.. Also, his lobby is always full and you can expect a bit of a wait! His staff is courteous and informative… I love Ayesha, one of his assistants. Dr. Downing performed my right thumb tendon transfer in a timely manner from my consultation with him on March 5 2025. My surgery was scheduled for March 17th at Ortho 1 state of the art surgery center. Every staff member was attentive, kind, compassionate and professional. My tendon transfer was a complete success. My post op visits were great Dr. Downing always answered my questions and concerns never made me feel rushed. He explained the process of surgery, follow-up and occupational therapy.
